If you are a stylist or client seeking education on semi-permanent straightening, feel free to check out UnSprung’s free course on straightening. This course is NOT a how-to video. It’s a deep dive on the chemistry and the “why’s” of the smoothing service. There is also a Trouble Shooting section that covers the most common scenarios that pop up during a procedure. The education in the class can be applied to all brands on the market and will help you up your game regardless of which brand you love. Coaching, for stylists, is also available and can be paired with the course for a full emersion experience.

Salon Partnerships and Referral Program

For various reasons, many salons choose to exclude straightening services from their menu. Since 2003, stylists have had the option of referring clients to UnSprung for these services. This is a very unique collaboration that has helped build relationships with stylists through out the greater Portland area, and beyond. Since straightening is the only thing on the menu, stylists can rest assured that their clients will never be tempted to stray for any other service. Also, UnSprung sells no product. This is out of respect of the referring stylists. Only they truly understand their clients needs and goals.  A special thank-you goes out to all of the stylists who have trusted UnSprung with their clients over the years. There is an obvious potential risk in referring clients elsewhere for straightening, but you WILL get them back safely and smoothed out. That's a promise!
